Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt (46%)

Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt created by J&A Mitchell of Springbank Distillers Ltd and bottled at 46%. It takes its name from the sea loch at Campbeltown, and from a folk song of the same name that wishes the loch were whisky. It combines malts from across the Campbeltown region and is matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks. It is described as a maritime dram of honey, brine, a little smoke and a slightly nutty sweetness. Soft fruit, honey and butterscotch come first, giving way to maritime and spice notes with the lightest touch of peat smoke.
