Longrow Peated 100° Proof is a peated single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, a distillery that carries out its whole production on site. It is distilled twice and bottled at full strength, 57.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is smoky, with peat and wood smoke alongside vanilla, candied citrus and a light salty note. On the palate the body is full and oily, with toasted malt, caramel, black pepper and a mineral edge. The finish is long and warm, and the smoke stays with it.
