Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt that uses all five malts produced by the three distilleries of Campbeltown. It was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, then vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery. The strength is 92 proof (46%).
The opening notes are butterscotch, toffee apples and salted caramel. More complexity follows, with maritime and spice notes and a subtle touch of peat smoke.
