Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt from Springbank, made from five Campbeltown single malts: Springbank, Longrow, Hazelburn, Kilkerran and Glen Scotia. It contains no grain whisky. It was matured in bourbon and sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV, amber in colour.
The nose is distinctly Campbeltown: sea breeze, cold butter, British Christmas cake and roasted nuts, with a little smoke. The palate is creamy, with freshly roasted coffee, salted caramel, dates and brown sugar. The finish is long and complex, with soft, mild smoke.
