Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt made by Springbank, a mix of five single malts from Campbeltown distilleries with no grain whisky in it. It was matured in bourbon and sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtration or added colouring.
The colour is amber. The nose has sea breeze, cold butter, British Christmas cake and roasted nuts, with a little smoke. The palate is creamy, with freshly roasted coffee, salted caramel, dates and brown sugar. The finish is long and complex, with soft, mild smoke.
