Campbeltown Loch is a blended malt Scotch whisky at 46% ABV in a 700ml bottle. It contains no grain whisky.
The vatting brings together all five malt styles from Campbeltown's three distilleries: Springbank, Longrow and Hazelburn, all made at Springbank, plus Kilkerran from Glengyle and Glen Scotia. The malts were matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, then vatted and bottled at Springbank Distillery by J. & A. Mitchell & Co. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is buttery and salty, with ginger loaf, pecan pie and malt sweetness. The palate has creamy coffee, salted caramel, date syrup and dried fruit over subtle peat smoke, and the finish carries peat smoke, leather and oak.
