Campbeltown Mega Blended Malt 9 Year Old (Little Brown Dog) (70cl, 56.2%)

Campbeltown Mega Blended Malt is a blended malt from Little Brown Dog, bottled at 56.2% in a 70cl bottle. It was made to honour the three well-known Campbeltown distilleries, using casks left over from an earlier Campbeltown blend. The blend uses Glen Scotia at 9 years old, Kilkerran at 12 and 16 years old, and Springbank at 10 and 21 years old. All of the whisky came from first-fill bourbon and refill sherry casks. It is described as oily and full of flavour, with a finish that lasts as long as the bus journey back to Glasgow. The label shows three dairy cows, one for each distillery, on a green background that stands for the grazing land of Kintyre.
