Campo Dei Gigli Amarone - Tenuta Sant'Antonio

An Amarone from Tenuta Sant'Antonio, made in the Valpolicella Classica area from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara. The grapes are carefully dried on racks, followed by ageing that enhances the structure and aromatic depth of the wine. In the glass it shows an intense garnet red colour. On the nose there are notes of ripe cherry, berries, sweet spices and a delicate touch of tobacco and cocoa. On the palate it is enveloping and full, with well-integrated tannins and a persistent finish with a warm, savoury note.
