This is a vintage Cognac from Camus, distilled in 1991 and aged for an extended period in French oak barrels.
The nose is delicate, with ripe pear and apple, vanilla, honey and a gentle floral note, and a little oak spice behind. The palate is smooth and well balanced, with apricot, raisin and a touch of honeyed sweetness, finishing with light spice and a velvety texture.
The finish is long and warm, with dried fruit, spice and a faint earthiness lingering.
