Camus Intensely Aromatic is a VSOP cognac in a 70cl bottle, from a house that has made cognac since 1863. It is a blend of selected eaux-de-vie distilled and aged at a historic estate in the Charente.
Long ageing in cask gives the cognac aromatic complexity and a soft, smooth texture.
The nose is intense and enveloping, with citrus, ripe yellow fruit, fresh almond and oak. The palate is soft and elegant, with vanilla and oak, and the finish is of good length with a slightly saline edge. It is suggested as an after-dinner drink.
