This is Canadian Club 15 Year Old, a blended Canadian whisky distilled in 1980 and bottled in 1995, in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. Hiram Walker founded his distillery in Detroit in 1858. As the Prohibition movement gained ground, he moved it across the river to Ontario and built the model town of Walkerville for the community that made his "Club Whisky". A petition later added "Canadian" to the name to set it apart from American distillers. During American Prohibition, Al Capone smuggled thousands of cases of Canadian Club across the border. The brand has since received royal warrants.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
