This is a 12 year old single malt from Caol Ila on the Scottish island of Islay, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It has a light golden colour.
The nose is led by smoke and peated malt, with fresh citrus and a restrained sweetness. The palate is soft and complex, with smoky, maritime notes, light spice and a touch of vanilla. The finish is long, carrying peat and sea salt.
