Caol Ila 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from Islay, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
Pale gold in colour, it is peated, with smoke running through the nose and palate.
The nose has peat smoke, green fruit and a light sea-breeze note. On the palate, smoke meets sweet malt, honey and citrus, with some minerality and a pinch of spice. The finish is long and warm, with lingering smoke and saltiness.
