A 12-year-old single malt from Caol Ila on the island of Islay, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is rich and fresh, with citrus, soft smoke, oily notes, peeled apple skin and a coastal, iodine edge. On the palate the soft smoke comes forward first, followed by tangy citrus, then a balanced sweet smoke and a rounded fruitiness that carries through to the end.
