This is a 12 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is a lightly smoky, peated whisky matured in bourbon casks. The spirit is not matured on Islay. It is taken by tanker to the Scottish mainland straight after distilling, then filled into wooden casks to mature there. In the glass it is pale straw. Tasting notes mention fish oil and seaweed, along with burnt toast, malt and fruit, and a clean, soft taste.
