Caol Ila 12 Year Old Unpeated is an Islay single malt bottled by Little Brown Dog at 57.3% in a 70cl bottle. It is made without peat smoke, so the distillate itself comes through. The spirit was filled in December 2013 into two refill bourbon barrels and bottled in May 2026, giving 384 bottles.
The bottlers chose to showcase the spirit rather than add a sherry finish, and describe the high cutting point as giving something elegant, sweet and delicate. The label shows unpeated barley growing, and its theme of absent peat nods to Fleetwood Mac's Kiln House, the first album made without Peter Green.
