Caol Ila 14 Year Old is an Islay single malt distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2026 by Uncharted Whisky in its Golden Years release. It spent time in a Tokaji cask.
Coastal air and grilled peaches open the nose, followed by tropical fruit, ripe stone fruit and fine peat smoke. The palate is rich, with brioche, juicy stone fruit and a hint of banana, the smoke framed by saltiness and the sweet depth of the Tokaji cask. The finish is long, the fruit fading to soft peat smoke, then warm oak and mild spice.
