This is a 15 year old Caol Ila, an Islay single malt bottled by Decadent Drams. It is a marriage of refill and first fill sherry hogsheads, distilled in 2009 and 2010 and brought together for over two years before bottling at 57.1%.
Just 266 bottles were released.
It is described as long, smoky and bold, with depth and texture and a strongly peated Islay character shaped by sherry casks.
