This is a 16 year old single cask Caol Ila from Islay, bottled at 42.4% in a 70cl bottle. It is the third release under the Cut Your Wolf Loose 'Cut The Leftovers Loose' label, and the cask gave 80 bottles.
The nose pairs orange with polished oak floorboards and the warmth of an open fire. On the palate the orange and oak meet a salty note and cloves, and the finish is very long, carrying smoke and spice.
