Caol Ila 18 Years is a single malt from the Caol Ila distillery, which stands on an inlet near Port Askaig and was founded in 1846. The whisky is matured for 18 years in oak casks.
The nose opens with smoke alongside floral, grassy and honeyed notes. On the palate it is soft, with peat and a faint sea breeze in the background. The finish is medium in length and lingers, with smoky hay and light peat.
