This Caol Ila single malt was distilled in 2010 and bottled by Douglas Laing in 2017 at six years old. A single cask release in the Provenance range, it marks the 2017 Feis Ile festival on Islay.
Maturation used refill American oak hogsheads followed by a virgin American oak finish. Bottled at 50.6% ABV, it is described as smooth, with light peat, gentle smoke and malt character.
