This is an 11 year old Caol Ila single malt, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023 by Cadenhead's for the Warehouse Tasting at the 2023 Campbeltown Malts Festival. It has been finished in a Palo Cortado hogshead since April 2022 and is bottled at 51.4% ABV.
Tasting notes describe spicy peat with hints of citrus on the nose. The palate shows rich maltiness balanced by oak, and the finish is smooth and lingering with a touch of sweetness.
