A 13 year old Caol Ila bottled by Little Brown Dog from a refill butt, distilled on 10 April 2012 and bottled on 12 February 2026 at 55.7% ABV. The 332 bottles were filled a few months before the whisky's 14th birthday, as the bottler prefers Caol Ila fresh to keep its subtle smoke.
This is the second Caol Ila cask the bottler has released. It is described as well balanced, in an elegant Islay style, smoky and maritime. The label is a coloured illustration of seaweed, a crab and a small shrimp, made by J. F. Schreiber in 1876.
