Caol Ila 25 Year Old is a limited-edition Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, described as a maritime malt.
On the nose it is sticking plasters, lemon zest, oily smoke and bonfire toffee. The palate opens sweet, with lemon juice and oak, then moves on to leather, black pepper, spicy ginger and sweets. The finish is long, oily and peaty.
