This is an 8 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled by Murray McDavid at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in a Bourbon hogshead and was then finished in a first-fill Koval Four Grain cask. The release comprises 1,242 bottles.
The nose combines lemon pastry, sea mist and hickory smoke. The palate has oak and smoke with vanilla and citrus, and the finish is clean and fresh, with salted caramel.
