Caol Ila Distiller Edition is a limited edition single malt from the Caol Ila distillery on Islay, in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured in casks chosen to bring out the classic peat profile, with added sweetness from casks that previously held moscato.
The nose offers peat smoke with hints of dried fruit and vanilla. On the palate come layers of dark chocolate and caramelised fruit, with a lasting smoky note, leading to a long finish.
