Caol Ila Moch is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. The Caol Ila distillery stands on an inlet near Port Askaig and was founded in 1846. Moch is only lightly peated, which makes it a gentle introduction to the smoky whiskies of the island. The nose offers lemon, apple, custard and smoke. The palate is sweet and soft, with smoke arriving towards the end. The finish is fairly long, dry and smoky.
