Caperdonich – 18 Year Old Peated Small Batch Release / Batch 005 is a single malt whisky from Caperdonich (Speyside). Aged 18 years, bottled at 48% ABV, 70cl. Matured in american oak. A Speyside distillery originally built as an expansion for Glen Grant and known for many years simply as Glen Grant No.2. Despite obtaining its own identity in 1965, it was mostly operated for the provision of malt to blended Scotch brands and was eventually closed by Pernod Ricard in 2002.
