This is an 18 year old single cask Caperdonich, released as part of the Distillery Reserve Collection from Chivas Brothers. It matured in cask #28259, a second fill sherry butt, and was bottled at cask strength of 59.1% on 17 December 2020.
The nose combines milk chocolate, honeycomb, toasted oak and cherries with soft caramel, dark chocolate, warm ginger biscuits and sultanas. The finish is long and slightly sweet, with gentle warming spice.
