This is a 27 year old unpeated single malt from Caperdonich, a Speyside distillery opened in 1898 and taken down in 2011. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in first fill American oak barrels and bottled at cask strength, without chill-filtration.
The nose is fresh ginger and zesty lemon with creamy milk chocolate. On the palate, apple and blackberry mingle with toasted oak and a hint of liquorice, and the finish is long and sweet.
