Capreolus 1,000 Trees Apple Eau de Vie 2023

This is an apple eau de vie from the 2023 harvest, made by Capreolus, an English distillery that uses traditional French alembic stills. It distils whole fruit, adds no sugar and uses no oak ageing, so the natural character of the fruit comes through. The apples are distilled shortly after harvest to capture their ripe aromatics. It is a clear, intensely fruity spirit with fresh apple and orchard blossom, and a crisp, dry finish.
