This is a Cardhu single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2016 and bottled on 12 March 2026 after nine years in first fill bourbon hogsheads. James Eadie bottled it as a single cask at a cask strength of 52.4% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, as part of the Distilleries of Great Britain & Ireland Commemorative series. 659 bottles were filled.
It has no added colour and is not chill-filtered.
The first fill casks show in clear vanilla and honey notes, joined by a mild malt sweetness and a fine hint of orange. The palate is creamy, recalling caramel, with a touch of light wood.
