Cargo Cult Spiced Rum

Cargo Cult is a small batch spiced rum from the South Pacific. The name refers to the Second World War, when islanders with little contact with the outside world watched American forces parachute in vast supplies, and afterwards kept faith that the goods would return. It is a clear, polished brass colour. Aromas of vanilla custard and gingerbread are followed by clove and baklava. The palate is unexpectedly dry and light to medium in body, with cinnamon, ginger and light vanilla ice cream. The finish lets a grassy rum base show through, then fades dry and spicy with a baklava note.
