Carlos I Imperial XO is a Spanish brandy from the house of Osborne.
Its blend includes distillates aged up to 20 years, matured in oak casks that previously held Jerez wines, using the soleras and criaderas system. It has a deep amber colour with aromas of dried fruit, vanilla, cocoa, sweet spices and toasted wood. The palate is harmonious and velvety, with hazelnut, chocolate and a light touch of cinnamon, leading to a long, rewarding finish.
It is best enjoyed neat in a suitable glass, and also pairs well with dark chocolate or as a finish to a meal.
