This is a 14 year old Islay single malt from Caol Ila, bottled by Càrn Mòr with Morrison Distillers as whisky maker. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2026 at 52.1%, in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill filtration.
The whisky matured in a single Oloroso sherry butt, and the outturn is 488 bottles. It pairs Islay peat smoke with the dried fruit and warming spice of Oloroso casks.
The nose and palate show layers of peat smoke with smoky cured meats and dried fruits, with gentle oak. The finish is long and warming, with lingering peat smoke and a subtle sweetness fading into spice and oak.
