This Mortlach is a 4-year-old Speyside single malt released by Càrn Mòr in its Strictly Limited range, made by Morrison Distillers. It was distilled in 2021, matured in American oak and bottled in 2026.
Bottling strength is 47.5%, with natural colour and without chill filtration, and 867 bottles were produced.
Sugared almonds, honeysuckle and fresh orchard fruit open the nose. The palate adds creamy vanilla, honeyed malt and gentle oak, and the finish is clean, with orchard fruit, soft floral sweetness and warming oak spice.
