This is a 50 year old single grain Scotch whisky from Carsebridge, a distillery that closed in 1983. It was matured for five decades in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled in 2026 by Living Souls at 40.3% ABV.
The bourbon barrels contribute vanilla, citrus, creamy confectionery and gentle spice.
Orange blossom, lemon sherbet and buttery shortbread lead the aroma. The palate brings mandarin, vanilla fudge and cardamom buns, with a touch of coconut.
