Casa Mariol Negro Vermut (1L, 15%)

Casa Mariol Negro is a red vermouth from Cellers Mariol in Batea, Spain, labelled on the bottle as Vermut. It is made from Macabeo and flavoured with thyme, green walnut, orange peel, cardamom, wormwood and rosemary. On the nose and palate there are thyme, vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon, liquorice and cloves. A refreshing acidity runs through it, and it is well balanced, round and complex, with a strong personality. It comes in a one litre bottle at 15% abv.
