Casale del Giglio Anthium Bellone IGT

A dry white wine from Lazio, made solely from the ancient native Bellone grape. The grapes are harvested by hand towards the end of September, followed by maceration on the skins and fermentation with indigenous yeasts. In the glass it is intense yellow with golden reflections. The aroma shows ripe exotic fruit such as papaya and mango. On the palate it is dry, fresh, fairly soft and savoury, with light spicy and floral notes. It suits smoked or grilled fish, white meats and semi-aged cheeses.
