Casalforte Merlot Veneto IGT from Riondo is a red wine with a rich aromatic profile. It is intensely luminous ruby red, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, sweet spice and a light touch of vanilla from wood ageing. On the palate it is soft and well balanced, with balanced acidity and delicate but present tannins. It suits red meat, game and aged cheeses.
