Cascade Moon Edition No. 3 is a spirit distilled from a mash of corn, rye and malt. It was matured in new, charred American oak barrels, kept in single-story warehouses.
The barrels met unusual conditions during maturation, and the strength fell below the minimum required for a spirit to be called whisky. It is described as complex and sophisticated, with a light, easy-drinking character.
