Cascahuín Blanco Tahona is a blanco tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave at the Tequila Cascahuín distillery (NOM 1123) in El Arenal, Jalisco. It is bottled at 42% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The agave is grown in volcanic soils, then slowly cooked, fermented and distilled. After cooking, it is crushed with a large volcanic stone wheel, the traditional tahona, which is said to add depth, minerality and an earthy character to the spirit.
