Cascahuín Reposado Tequila

Cascahuín Reposado is a small-batch tequila from Destilería Cascahuín in the Tequila Valley, made entirely from Blue Weber agave. The agave is slow-cooked in traditional stone ovens, crushed with a roller mill and fermented naturally with deep-well water in stainless steel tanks. It is then double-distilled in stainless pot stills with copper coils. The tequila rests for 6 to 8 months in well-seasoned American oak barrels, which give it a light golden colour. On the nose there is cooked agave, vanilla, light oak, citrus zest and caramel. The palate brings sweet agave, creamy vanilla, toasted oak, pepper spice and a hint of lemon, leading to a silky finish with sweet spice and herbal notes.
