Cascahuín Tequila Blanco (70cl, 40%)

A blanco tequila from Cascahuín, one of the most traditional distilleries in Tequila. Its makers have brought back an old-fashioned tahona to crush the baked agave, though the heavy stone wheel is now turned by an electric motor rather than a donkey. The nose is mineral with citrus. The taste is sweet and slightly bitter, with herbal and citrus notes. It can be sipped neat or used in cocktails. It is bottled at 40% vol. in a 70cl bottle.
