Cascahuin Tequila Reposado (70cl, 40%)

Cascahuin Reposado is a tequila from one of the most traditional distilleries in the Tequila region, bottled at 40% vol. in a 70cl bottle. The distillery has brought back an old-style tahona to crush the baked agave, although the heavy stone wheel is now turned by an electric motor rather than a donkey. Generations of inherited craft lie behind the way it is made. On the nose there is honey, vanilla and dry earth. The palate is silky, with fine agave notes and oak. It is best enjoyed neat.
