Castagner Le Acquaviti Veneta Barrique is a grappa from Veneto, aged in oak barriques. It is distilled from selected grape pomace from Veneto grapes, using methods that combine tradition with technological innovation. Ageing in barrique gives soft, enveloping tones and a subtle vanilla note alongside almond and marasca cherry aromas typical of grappa. On the nose it shows ripe fruit, chocolate and sweet spice. On the palate it is soft and seductive, with a full taste and an elegant, persistent finish. It suits serving as a digestif, at room temperature or slightly chilled, and pairs with dark chocolate or aged cheeses.
