A Brunello di Montalcino made exclusively from Sangiovese grosso, grown on the sunny hills around Montalcino. After careful fermentation, it ages slowly in oak barrels, developing a complex and structured character.
In the glass it is deep ruby red, with a rich bouquet of ripe cherry, violet and sweet spices, plus light tobacco and leather nuances. On the palate it is full and harmonious, with well-polished tannins and an intense, elegant, long finish.
It suits red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
