A Chianti Classico DOCG from Castello Vicchiomaggio, produced in the Greve in Chianti area of Tuscany. Made from Sangiovese, it is aged partly in oak barrels, giving spicy depth alongside red berry notes, earthy tones and the typical Chianti Classico character. In the glass it shows a bright ruby colour. The nose is citrus and floral, while the palate has silky tannins and lively acidity. It suits red meat, roasts and aged cheeses.
