A red Toscana IGT Selezione from Castello Vicchiomaggio, made with Sangiovese blended with selected international varieties. The bouquet is complex, with ripe red fruits such as cherry and blackberry, delicate spicy notes and tobacco. Ageing in oak barrels gives softness and structure, with velvety tannins and an elegant balance. On the palate it shows persistence and a harmonious rhythm between freshness and body. It suits Tuscan dishes such as grilled red meats, pici with ragu and aged cheeses.
