Castle & Key – 6 Year Old Small Batch Kentucky Bourbon

This is a six-year-old small batch Kentucky bourbon from Castle & Key, which is based at the Old Taylor Distillery in Millville, Kentucky. Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. built the distillery in 1887, and Prohibition closed it in 1920. The property later fell into ruin, until the Castle & Key team bought it in 2014 and restored it. The name looks back to the castle on the site and to the keyhole-shaped Springhouse, the source of the distillery's water.
